Smoking is a very inhumane addiction and out of the estimated 1.3 billion worldwide smokers, every year around 5.4 million people die due to it. This means that every 6.5 seconds, a current or former smoker dies. These figures are expected to get much worse in the coming years, as in 2015 smoking is set to kill 6.5 million people and the 8.3 million humans in 2030, with the biggest rise in low-and middle-income countries.
